Found, in a Lost Place (2018-2022) is a series that focuses on isolation, loss, and the unknown that makes itself known to us. The loss that presents itself comes in multiple forms (of a person, of faith, of feeling lost) but I react to each loss in the same way. I further distance myself from the world and find ways to be comfortable in this isolated place. The loneliness that presents itself here is a friend. It reminds me to acknowledge the world, and through making an image, I archive these moments as a way to discover a world that would otherwise remain unbeknownst to myself.
